The winners of the Khibla Gerzmava International Competition for Vocalists and Concertmasters have been announced

The Grand Prix among vocalists went to Polina Sharovarova (mezzo-soprano), soloist of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko MAMT. The first prize was shared by Samira Galimova (soprano), a soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre's Primorsky stage, and Yulia Vakula (mezzo-soprano), a student of the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Singing Center.

 

 The second prize among vocalists went to Ivan Borodulin (countertenor), a student of the Ural State Conservatory, and Evgeny Bovykin (baritone), a soloist of the UralOperaBallet and the Perm Opera. The third prize was awarded to Eleni Yeghiazaryan, soprano from Armenia, and Elizaveta Kulagina, soprano from Russia, soloist of the Moscow Musical Theater “Helikon Opera”. 

 

Among concertmasters, the first prize was shared by Vladimir Vishnevsky, a student of the Moscow State Conservatory and soloist of the St. Petersburg House of Music, and Vitaly Petrov, also a soloist of the St. Petersburg House of Music and a student of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory. The second prize went to Alexander Anasenko, a teacher at the Faculty of Vocal, Choral and Conducting Training of the M. M. Ippolitov-Ivanov State Music and Pedagogical Institute. 

 

The third prize went to Alexander Shirokov, a teacher of the Concertmaster Art Department of the Moscow State Conservatory. Special prizes were awarded to Vitaly Petrov from Larisa Gergieva and Vladimir Vishnevsky from Evgenia Arefieva. Contestants Danila Loginov and Arina Pereladova were awarded a special prize “For sincere service to art”.
