32 years ago, on December 14, 1992, one of the most terrible tragedies of the period of the Patriotic War of the people of Abkhazia took place.    

As a result of this tragedy the lives of 85 people were cut short.
This day will forever remain a day of remembrance and sorrow in Abkhazia. This event has become a symbol of the suffering of civilians who found themselves in the center of the military conflict.

“I will not wish their children to die, 
I will not insult the mothers of strangers,
But the blood of the innocent cries out, and believe me,
I'll bear it all in the name of the Highest Punishment,
I'll endure all the agony I'll endure
The scales are already in the hands of the Judge!”
