Murat Yagan was born in Turkey, where he received his education. In 1963 he moved to Canada, where he later founded the "Kyabze." In this society, Murat Yagan was helping people strengthen their mind and body with techniques and principles, based on the spiritual heritage of Abkhazia called "Aamsta Kyabze." The word "Aamsta" in this case refers to the highest physical and spiritual level, which is achieved as a result of specific training, as well as a combination of physical and mental exercises. Yagan worked with several groups Kyabze in North America and abroad.
