Council for Economic Development and Reform Commission was created by Presidential Decree of 11 April 2015 to make recommendations on the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of economic reforms in the Republic of Abkhazia. Council members are representatives of business, large business, banking, public authorities and management. Participants of the meeting discussed issues related with the development of effective mechanisms for implementation of the Strategy of socio-economic development of the Republic of Abkhazia until 2025. Invited participant of meeting, the founder and President of Strategy Partners Group, Alexander Idrisov, presented the Head of State and members of the Board a draft concept of economic reforms and the restoration of the Abkhaz economy programs prepared by a group of Russian experts in the field of strategic planning. Minister of Economy, Coordinator for Economic Development and Reform Adgur Ardzinba Council drew attention to the fact that this presentation is the next step in the realization of the Strategy of socio-economic development until 2015.
