Today celebrates his 80-th birthday Platon Bebiya- Abkhaz poet, who made a great contribution to the Abkhazian poetry. In his birthday we wish to Platon Humpovich good health, long life and, of course, success. The poet was born October 5, 1935 in Kutol. In 1954 Platon Bebiya entered the Sukhum State Pedagogical Institute and graduated in 1959. In 1965-1968 yy. he studied at the Moscow Literary Institute. Platon Bebiya is an author of such works as "Waves", "Lyrics", "Sleeping River" etc.
