He graduated from Sukhum School in 1920 and began his professional career as the co-editor of the first Abkhaz newspaper "Apsny Kapsch" ("Red Abkhazia"). He started publishing his novels in the first Abkhaz newspaper "Apsny", published under the editorship of the founder of Abkhaz literature Dmitry Gulia. Lakrba’s novels take an important place in the literary heritage. He became known for his works - "The Abkhaz novella" and "Alamys", published by the publishing house "Soviet writer" in Moscow in 1957 and 1961. Lakrba’s novels are known for their generosity, imbued with a deep sense of "alamys", which reveals all the inner world of man.
