Today is the 73 birthday of Vyacheslav Ablotia- Abkhaz film director, screenwriter and member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, director and artistic director of the studio "Abhazfilm" People's Artist of the Republic of Abkhazia, Officer of the Order "Akhdz-Apsha" ("Honor and Glory») III degree. On this day, we wish him good health, long life and success. The director was born on 19 October 1942 in Gudauta. In 1968 he graduated from the acting department of the Tbilisi State Theatre Institute. Then he began working in the Abkhaz State Drama Theater. In 1979 he studied on direction courses at the State Committee for Cinematography of the USSR in Moscow. He graduated in 1981, the workshop of George Danelia. He directed short films: "Old Bed", "Trust", "Pursuit", "A white horse is better?". He worked on a film studio "Georgia-Film". For the first time he shoot a film in the Abkhaz language based on the script D. Zantariya "Souvenir". Filmed in the movies: "Blue Hares", "white turban", "On the night of the new moon," "Song of the Mountains", "Silver Street", "Chegem Detective." In Abkhazia, he founded film studio "Abhazfilm." This studio together with "Lenfilm" has carried out a full-length staging of the product F. Iskander "Bad Hand."
