Dear compatriots! We invite volunteers for participation in the project "Abkhazia – its citizens, who died in German captivity during the war of 1941 - 1945", which is implemented with the support of the participants of general civil initiative "Missing - Names." The Public Initiative "Missing - Names" is aimed at finding the Red Army prisoners of war - the German Nazi camp prisoners, missing in World War II and tracing their relatives. Work carried out in Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Abkhazia. The purpose of the project "Abkhazia – its citizens, who died in German captivity during the war of 1941 - 1945", to find prisoners of war from the Republic, which are considered "missing" and help families find information about the fate of their loved one. And bring their names back to life! Thanks to this initiative, today, there were carried out some research for relatives of missing citizens of Abkhazia.
