The purpose of the scholarship Visby Programme - to create a scientific research area, with a focus on the Baltic Sea, which will consist of countries with the EU Eastern Partnership and Russia. Students who enter the Masters in Sweden for full-time education can apply for a scholarship in the amount of 9.000 SEK per month, which covers the cost of tuition and living expenses. In each academic year establish approximately 55 fellowships. The scholarship is paid only in the period of training the student in one of the master's programs. Students are also paid a grant to cover the costs associated with the flight (for students - representatives of such countries as Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Moldova. Apply for a scholarship under the program Visby Programme, students may exclusively from Belarus, Russia, Moldova, Ukraine. Admission requirements The first applicant has applied enrollment Swedish Institute (deadline January 15 number). After paying the entrance fee (deadline February 1). When a student has applied for admission to the master's program, it is assigned a 6-digit number, which is used in completing the application for participation in the scholarship program. In addition to the application you want to send to the following documents: Motivation letter; A letter of recommendation; Summary of European format (without pictures). Preference is given to candidates who have leadership abilities and high intelligence. Age, gender, or religion does not influence the decision to award the scholarships. An applicant may apply for no more than 4 graduate programs of the University. When applying for each master's program, you must separately submit an application to participate in the scholarship program and all related documents. Applications for participation in the Visby Programme and the compliance of all documents submitted will be considered by the Commission. In early April, at the university website (Swedish Institute) will provide a list of students who are in the next academic year will receive a scholarship. The scholarship program are not eligible candidates who: • held in Sweden for two years or more before the date of enrollment to participate in the scholarship program; • Swedish citizens or EU / EEA, as well as those who have a residence permit in Sweden or work permit; • received a scholarship while studying at the University Swedish Institute; • already received a degree in Swedish Institute; • already enrolled at the University of Swedish Institute.
