On June 26 in Moscow the graduation short fashion-film "FRAGILITY" by HSE students Elizaveta Khashba and Eva Rafaelian was screened.
In the movie the authors, inspired by historical, cultural, ethnographic, cinematographic and literary works, visually reflect on the fragility of cultural, human and natural, as well as the value of preserving cultural heritage, demonstrating the unity of cultures through the script, picture and audio component.
According to the authors of the movie - Elizaveta Khashba and Eva Rafaelian, in their joint work they wanted to unite three directions - fashion, cinema and their homelands. This direction was finally determined by difficult events: in the fall of 2023, foreign policy conflicts in Armenia escalated, and in the winter of 2024, the fund of the National Art Gallery in Sukhum burned down.
"In our personal conversations we started to return more and more often to the theme of the fragility of everything we are made of, especially cultural heritage, which in many ways shapes our identity and as if it could be lost in an instant," shared Elizabeth Khashba.
