writer, historian and translator - August 21, 1950 Abhaz writer, historian and translator. Member of the Union of Soviet Writers (1984), the Union of writers of Abkhazia, the Russian Writers Union. General Director of "Aqua-Abaza." Born in a family Abkhaz poet Kirschau Chachhalia in Tkuarchal. He graduated from the Abkhazian average boarding school in Suchum. In 1973 he graduated from the faculty of Translation Literary Institute in Moscow, and then worked in the position of correspondent of the newspaper "Sovetskaya Abkhazia" Sukhum, and later - the literary adviser of the Union of Writers of Abhazia. In early 1980s publishes prose, poetry, drama. The individual stories of the writer were translated into foreign languages .From 1984 member of the Writers of SSSR. From 1984 to 1989 he taught at the Literary Institute in Moscow, as head of the creative workshop on translating Abkhaz prose. He translated to Abkhaz language works of Pushkin , S. Yesenin, Blok, Akhmatova, Tsvetaeva, from German poetry - Heine, Goethe, Schiller, as well as translations into Russian poetry of the Abkhazian D. Gulia poets, J. Kogon, B. Shinkuba, K. Chachhalia A. Ajinjal, T. Adzhba G. Alam, R. Smyr. Founded and headed in Sukhum Literary Fund Writers 'Union of the Republic of Abhaziya. May 2011 joined the Church Council of the Holy Metropolis of Abkhazia from the laity.
